Romhack.Net is an alternative IT magazine written by professional geeks for people who share this passion for technology, how it is built, used, and can ultimately improve our life. Because of the complementary profiles of its authors, it aims at giving an alternative insight on the information world, its wonders and its woes.
Fred is Program Manager at Microsoft, in the Zurich Development Center for collaboration technologies. Before working at Microsoft, he earned a BSc/MSc from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) in computer science and economics, and a MSc from EPFL (Lausanne) in computer science and management of technology.
JC is Group IT Analyst in a European general service company where he manages the security, network and IT issues in a dozen of countries. Since his teenage years, he has been deeply interested in computers and technology as well as how things work behind the scenes, and is as much interested in programming as in product implementation and management. Before moving to this IT-specific international position, he started his career as a statistician, where he designed several tools that helped the local operating management to get a better grisp of the business and identify business issues faster and more easily.
